Technical Details

The disruption began at 14:15 UTC and concluded by 16:30 UTC. The primary affected metric was the BGP median signal, which recorded a severity score of 2,336. This signal measures the control plane visibility and stability of internet routing prefixes. Concurrent drops were observed in other key connectivity indicators. The ping-slash24 signal, which measures ICMP reachability across IPv4 /24 network blocks, showed a 15% drop from its peak. The gtr-norm signal, a forecast deviation from expected traffic baselines, fell by 18%.
