Technical Details
The primary impact was recorded on the gtr (Global Traffic Routing) signal, which measures deviation from expected traffic baselines. This signal showed a 73% drop from its peak volume, contributing a severity score of 11,179. A secondary, less severe impact was observed on the ping-slash24 signal, which measures ICMP reachability across IPv4 /24 network prefixes. This signal recorded two shorter periods of reduced reachability between 01:20 and 03:40 UTC, with a combined severity score of 1,385. Control plane visibility, measured by the BGP signal, remained stable throughout the event.
