The disruption, which began at approximately 15:20 UTC on July 5, lasted for 10.4 days. A key metric measuring ICMP reachability across IPv4 network prefixes recorded a severity score of 300,776, indicating a substantial drop in active connectivity. This signal showed a 10% drop from its peak observed reachability.

Other measurement signals also showed deviations. A forecast model tracking traffic volume deviation recorded a 76% drop from its expected baseline. A separate backscatter measurement signal, often used as a proxy for aggregate connectivity, dropped to zero, indicating a 100% reduction in observed activity. The Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) control plane, which manages routing information between networks, showed no significant change in the number of visible prefixes.
