The disruption was recorded between 22:05 and 22:20 UTC. The BGP signal, which measures the control plane visibility of network prefixes, registered a severity score of 16. During the event, the number of visible BGP routes dropped by 1% from its peak.
Concurrently, other measurement signals showed minor deviations. The ping-slash24 signal, which tracks ICMP reachability across IPv4 address blocks, showed a 6% drop in reachable networks. The merit-nt signal, a proxy for aggregate connectivity, recorded a complete, though brief, drop to zero.
The cause has not been publicly attributed.
