Technical Details
The disruption recorded a severity score of 22,488. The primary affected signal was BGP, which measures the control plane visibility and routing announcements for the country’s internet prefixes. The BGP signal remained at a constant, low level of 117 visible prefixes throughout the event, indicating a sustained reduction in advertised routes.
Other network health signals showed less severe impacts. The ping-slash24 signal, which measures ICMP reachability across active IPv4 address blocks, saw a minor 5% drop from its peak. The gtr-norm signal, a forecast deviation from an expected traffic baseline, recorded a more substantial 53% drop from its observed peak.
The cause has not been publicly attributed.
