Technical Details

The disruption occurred between 11:05 and 11:50 UTC. The primary affected metric was the BGP signal, which registered a severity score of 355. The BGP signal measures the visibility of a country’s IP address prefixes in the global internet routing table; a drop indicates that networks became less reachable from a routing perspective. During the event, the number of visible prefixes dropped by 8% from its peak. Other network signals, including active probing for IPv4 reachability and traffic volume measurements, showed less pronounced deviations during the same observation window.

The cause has not been publicly attributed. Connectivity was reported restored by the end of the observation period.
