The disruption registered a severity score of 271. The primary affected signal was the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), which governs the exchange of routing information between networks. The BGP signal recorded a drop magnitude of 4% from its peak visibility during the observation window.
Other network telemetry showed concurrent but less severe deviations. Active probing for IPv4 reachability showed an 8% drop from peak. A separate backscatter measurement signal, which serves as a proxy for aggregate connectivity, recorded a complete 100% drop to zero during the event.
The cause has not been publicly attributed. Connectivity was reported restored by the end of the observation period.
