The event recorded a severity score of 272. The BGP signal, which measures the visibility of network prefixes in the global routing table, showed a 4% drop in its median value during the disruption. This indicates a reduction in the number of network routes being advertised from within the country. Concurrently, active probing for ICMP reachability across IPv4 /24 prefixes showed a 16% drop in the number of responsive networks. A separate backscatter measurement signal, which serves as a proxy for aggregate connectivity, dropped to zero during the event.
The cause has not been publicly attributed.
