The disruption occurred in two distinct phases between 15:00 and 00:30 UTC, with a total severity score of 586 attributed to the BGP signal.

Technical Details

The primary impact was observed on the BGP control plane, which governs the routing of internet traffic between networks. The BGP visibility metric recorded a drop of approximately 3% from its peak. A concurrent, though less severe, impact was noted on active probing measurements, which assess the reachability of IPv4 network blocks, showing a 17% drop. The cause has not been publicly attributed.

Connectivity was reported restored by the end of the observation window.
