The disruption registered a severity score of 211, with the primary impact observed on the BGP signal. This signal measures the control plane visibility for internet routing prefixes, indicating a reduction in the number of observable network paths.

Concurrent with the BGP event, a significant drop of 48% was recorded in the Merit Network Telescope (merit-nt) signal, which serves as a proxy for aggregate connectivity by analyzing unsolicited internet traffic. The traffic volume (gtr) signal also showed a 31% decline from its peak, while normalized traffic (gtr-norm) dropped 37%.

Active probing for IPv4 reachability (ping-slash24) showed a more modest 5% reduction in observed prefixes.
