Technical Details
The BGP signal, which measures the visibility of network prefixes in the global routing table, showed a median prefix count drop of 1% from its peak during the event. Concurrently, the ping-slash24 signal, a measure of ICMP reachability across IPv4 network blocks, recorded a 12% drop in reachable networks. The gtr-norm signal, an indicator of aggregate traffic flow, deviated from its expected baseline by 39%.
