The disruption occurred between 17:20 and 17:35 UTC. The primary affected metric was the BGP control plane signal, which recorded a severity score of 92. The BGP signal measures the visibility of a country’s IP address prefixes in the global routing table; a drop indicates reduced routing information availability. Other network health indicators, including active probing reachability (ping-slash24) and traffic volume forecasts (gtr-sarima), remained stable during the event.
