Technical Details
The disruption recorded a severity score of 508. The Merit-NT signal, a proxy for aggregate connectivity based on backscatter measurements, showed a significant drop, falling 87% from its peak value during the observation period. Other key internet measurement signals, including Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) control plane visibility and active probing (ping-slash24) for IPv4 reachability, showed minimal to no deviation from normal baselines.
The cause has not been publicly attributed. Connectivity was reported restored shortly after the disruption began.
