Technical Details
The primary affected metric was the ping-slash24 signal, which measures ICMP reachability across IPv4 /24 network prefixes. The signal recorded a severity score of 920, with a measured drop in reachability of 37% from its peak level during the observation window. Other network health indicators, including Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) control plane visibility and backscatter traffic measurements, showed minimal deviation.
The cause has not been publicly attributed. Connectivity was reported restored by 01:50 UTC.
