The disruption occurred between 22:00 and 22:25 UTC. The primary affected metric was the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) signal, which measures the control plane visibility of a country’s IP address prefixes. The BGP signal recorded a severity score of 1,087, with a measured drop in visibility of 45% from its peak during the observation window. Other network health indicators, including active probing for reachability and traffic volume forecasts, showed minimal deviation from normal baselines.
The cause has not been publicly attributed. Connectivity was reported restored following the brief event.
