This signal recorded a severity score of 105,659, indicating a major impact on active probing results. The degradation period lasted from 10:40 UTC on August 24 until 00:30 UTC on August 28.
Other network signals showed varying impacts. The gtr signal, which measures traffic volume, saw a 24% drop from its peak. The merit-nt signal, a proxy for aggregate connectivity based on backscatter measurements, recorded a 22% decline. Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) control plane visibility and latency measurements remained stable throughout the event.
