Côte d’Ivoire experienced a connectivity disruption lasting nearly four hours in the early hours of Friday. The event began at 00:50 UTC and concluded at 04:30 UTC, with a severity score of 4,563. The primary impact was observed in active probing measurements across the country’s IPv4 address space.

Technical Details

The ping-slash24 signal, which measures ICMP reachability across IPv4 /24 network prefixes, recorded a severity score of 4,563. This signal showed a 22% drop from its peak value during the event. The gtr-norm signal, which tracks deviations from an expected traffic baseline, recorded a 50% drop from its peak. Backscatter measurements from the ucsd-nt signal also indicated a 58% drop in aggregate connectivity. The BGP control plane signal, which monitors routing advertisement visibility, remained stable throughout the period.

The cause has not been publicly attributed. Connectivity was reported restored by 04:30 UTC.
