Technical Details

The disruption’s primary technical signature was a sustained anomaly in the BGP signal, which measures the control plane visibility and routing stability of a country’s internet prefixes. The signal recorded a consistent value of 148 throughout the event window, indicating a persistent routing state. Other measurement signals showed varied impacts: active probing for IPv4 reachability saw an 8% drop from its peak, while a separate backscatter measurement signal recorded a complete 100% drop in observed traffic.
