The event recorded a severity score of 464. The primary affected signal was the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) median, which measures control plane visibility for network prefixes. This signal showed a 7% drop from its peak value during the observation window. Concurrently, active probing for ICMP reachability across IPv4 address blocks showed a more significant 59% drop in reachable networks. Backscatter measurements, a proxy for aggregate connectivity, also indicated a complete loss of signal during the event.
The cause has not been publicly attributed.
Connectivity was reported restored by the end of the observation period.
