The connectivity event began around 01:10 UTC on August 4 and persisted until 00:30 UTC on August 8. The overall severity score for the disruption was 21,785,851,262. The event primarily affected two key network signals.

The ping-slash24 signal, which measures ICMP reachability across IPv4 network prefixes, recorded a severity score of 240,417 during the event. Concurrently, the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) control plane, responsible for routing visibility, showed a severity score of 90,617. A separate traffic volume forecast model, gtr.sarima, indicated a deviation from the expected baseline, with the gtr-norm signal dropping by approximately 15% from its peak. The cause has not been publicly attributed.

Connectivity was reported restored by the end of the observation period.
