The disruption was recorded from 18:35 UTC on July 14 until 00:30 UTC on July 23, a duration of 8.2 days. The event registered a severity score of 29,688, primarily driven by the BGP signal. The BGP signal measures the visibility of a country’s internet prefixes in the global routing table; a sustained low value indicates a significant reduction in externally reachable network paths.
Other network measurements showed concurrent anomalies. The gtr-norm signal, which tracks deviations from expected traffic volume, recorded a 21% drop from its peak. Active probing for IPv4 reachability also showed a 5% decline from its peak levels during the observation period.
The cause has not been publicly attributed.
Connectivity was reported restored by the end of the observation window.
