The disruption recorded a severity score of 22,554, primarily driven by the BGP signal. The BGP signal measures the control plane visibility and stability of internet routing prefixes. Over the observation period from 18:30 UTC on August 2 to 00:30 UTC on August 3, the BGP prefix count remained stable at 325, indicating a persistent but consistent routing state. Concurrently, the normalized traffic volume (gtr-norm) showed a 34% drop from its peak, reflecting a deviation from the expected traffic baseline. Active probing for IPv4 reachability (ping-slash24) showed a minor 2% drop, with counts averaging 225 out of 227 prefixes.
