The event began at 00:25 UTC on July 23 and concluded at 04:30 UTC, with a severity score of 285 recorded for the BGP control plane signal.

Technical Details

The disruption was characterized by a degradation in the BGP median signal, which measures the visibility of network prefixes in the global routing table. The signal recorded a 1% drop from its peak. While other network health indicators, such as active probing for IPv4 reachability and backscatter traffic measurements, showed minor fluctuations, the primary impact was isolated to the BGP control plane. The cause has not been publicly attributed.

Connectivity was reported restored by the end of the observation period.
