The disruption occurred between 14:40 and 14:55 UTC on August 3. The primary affected metric was the BGP median signal, which recorded a severity score of 113. The BGP signal measures the stability and visibility of routing announcements for a country’s IP address prefixes. A concurrent, smaller drop was observed in the ping-slash24 signal, which measures ICMP reachability across active IPv4 network blocks. The cause has not been publicly attributed.
Connectivity was reported restored following the brief event.
