The disruption was measured by a 5% drop in the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) signal, which reflects the stability of routing announcements for the country’s internet prefixes. The BGP signal recorded a severity score of 849 during the 3.8-hour event. Concurrently, a 6% drop was observed in active probing measurements, which test the reachability of IP address blocks.
