The disruption recorded a severity score of 1,764, focused on the BGP control plane. The BGP signal, which measures the visibility of network routing prefixes, showed a median value drop of approximately 6% from its peak during the event. Concurrently, other network health indicators showed more pronounced declines. The gtr-norm signal, a measure of traffic volume deviation from an expected baseline, fell by 86%. The merit-nt signal, which serves as a proxy for aggregate connectivity, dropped by 74%.
The cause has not been publicly attributed.
The disruption was resolved by the end of the observation period.
