Other network signals showed concurrent deviations. The ping-slash24 signal, which measures ICMP reachability across IPv4 /24 prefixes, recorded a 13% drop. The gtr-norm signal, a normalized measure of traffic volume, dropped by 15%. The merit-nt signal, a backscatter measurement that serves as a proxy for aggregate connectivity, dropped by 100%.
The cause has not been publicly attributed. Connectivity was reported restored by the end of the observation window.
