The event was characterized by a degradation in the BGP signal, which measures the visibility of a country’s internet prefixes in the global routing table. The median number of visible prefixes from Bermuda dropped by 2% from its peak during the observation window. In contrast, other key connectivity metrics showed no significant deviation. The ping-slash24 signal, which measures ICMP reachability across active IPv4 address blocks, recorded only a minor 6% dip. Traffic volume, as measured by the gtr-norm signal, remained stable, deviating by less than 1% from its expected baseline.
