Technical Details
The event registered a severity score of 270, with the primary impact on the BGP control plane. The BGP signal, which measures the visibility of network prefixes to the global routing table, showed a measurable drop in advertised routes during the event period. Concurrently, other network health indicators showed less pronounced deviations. The ping-slash24 signal, measuring ICMP reachability across IPv4 address blocks, recorded a 15% drop from its peak. The merit-nt backscatter measurement, a proxy for aggregate connectivity, showed a complete drop to zero during the disruption. The cause has not been publicly attributed. Connectivity was reported restored by the end of the observation window.
