Technical Details
The disruption was marked by a sharp drop in the ping-slash24 signal, which measures ICMP reachability across the country’s IPv4 address space. This signal recorded a severity score of 5,587, with a measured drop of 61% from its peak reachability. Concurrently, the BGP signal, which reflects the visibility of Haiti’s network prefixes in the global routing table, showed a 55% drop from its peak, registering a severity score of 2,455.
The cause has not been publicly attributed. The disruption was resolved by the end of the observation period.
