Concurrently, the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) control plane signal, which reflects the visibility of network prefixes, showed a 16% degradation with a severity score of 725. The merit-nt signal, a proxy for aggregate network connectivity, recorded two distinct degradation periods with a combined severity score of 1,279 and an 84% drop from its peak value.
