The event recorded a severity score of 233. The primary affected metric was the BGP median signal, which measures the visibility of a country’s IP address prefixes in the global routing table. A drop in this signal indicates a reduction in the number of networks globally able to see and route traffic to the country’s advertised IP space.
During the disruption, the BGP signal dropped by 2% from its observed peak. Other network health indicators, including active probing for reachability and traffic volume forecasts, showed less pronounced fluctuations during the same observation window. The cause has not been publicly attributed.
Connectivity was reported restored by the end of the observation period.
