Technical Details

The disruption recorded a peak severity score of 25,042,402. The ping-slash24 signal, which measures ICMP reachability across IPv4 network blocks, showed a 75% drop from its peak, falling to a low of 38 responsive blocks. The BGP signal, which reflects the stability of routing announcements in the control plane, concurrently showed a 29% reduction in visible prefixes, dropping to 409.

Other measurement proxies also indicated impairment. The merit-nt signal, an aggregate connectivity proxy, fell to zero during the event. The gtr-norm signal, which tracks deviations from expected traffic baselines, recorded an 86% drop from its peak.
