The disruption was recorded between 10:05 and 12:30 UTC. The primary affected signal was BGP, which registered a severity score of 192. BGP provides visibility into the control plane announcements for internet prefixes. During the event, the median number of visible BGP routes dropped by approximately 1% from its peak.
Other network signals showed minor variations. The ping-slash24 signal, which measures ICMP reachability across IPv4 address blocks, recorded a 5% drop from its peak. The gtr-norm signal, a normalized measure of traffic flow, showed an 11% deviation from its expected baseline. The cause has not been publicly attributed.
